@ the Movies 2012 - BEST OF..... + Trouble with the Curve

So first up the best fo 2012, here we go again:

BEST hyped film of 2012 - The Dark Knight Rises

BEST jump out of the seat film - Paranormal Activity 4 (3 YEARS RUNNING PARANORMAL!)

BEST Teen drama/coming of age/comedy blah - Perks of Being a Wallflower

BEST low budget film - Project X

BEST NZ/small film - Intouchables (Not Kiwi but Bonjour, so Frenchy so Chic!)

BEST 3D movie - The Amazing Spiderman, but this was actually in 4D in the lovely Bangkok!

BEST Aussie Movie - The Sapphires

BEST Music film - Rock of Ages/The Sapphires (tie)

BEST controversial film of 2012 - The Dictator

BEST Drama - End of Watch

BEST musical on the big screen - The Sapphires/Pitch Perfect (it's kinda like Glee in a movie format) (tie)

Now to the Christmas spirit of family in the great sporting drama "Trouble with the Curve".

Such a fab end of year film which I was lucky to catch pre no further screenings to make way for family friendly crap.  Clint Eastwood was back to his Gran Torino best acting and producing this wonderful father/daughter tale.

Amy Adams is equally wonderful and Justin Timberlake is making real great acting choices by choosing great roles and like some men he is only getting better looking.  Remember how foul he looked when he dated Britney???

The supporting cast is also really awesome, John Goodman is great while Matthew Lillard (remember him from scream???) is great as a real creep.

This is one of those movies you sit down and just enjoy it's such easy viewing, all actors are great and own their roles and the story is touching and interesting (despite my quick pee break - damn coffee going right through me!) keeping your attention for the near two hour running time.

Trouble with the Curve has no troubles and is a real end of year gem, 4 stars.
